Union State accomplishes all goals set in 2025 — state secretary
According to Sergey Glazyev, the Union State has organized a wide range of socio-cultural events and started conducting weekly sessions of the Permanent Committee
MOSCOW, April 1. /TASS/. The Union State of Russia and Belarus has achieved all the goals set in the past year, including those concerning cross-border suburban traffic with Russia and investment platform for joint projects, State Secretary of the Union State Sergey Glazyev told TASS.
"We receive tasks from the presidents of both states, the Permanent Committee and the Council of Ministers. And all the goals set in the past year have been accomplished. On April 2, the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Russia is Belarus, we are working on the development of cross-border suburban passenger service between Vitebsk, the Vitebsk Region and Smolensk," Glazyev said.
According to him, the Union State has organized a wide range of socio-cultural events and started conducting weekly sessions of the Permanent Committee. The meetings discuss both current and strategic goals. A scientific expert council was established to examine such important issues as price adjustment in the Union State, the investment platform aimed at implementation of joint projects, strategies of advanced development," the state secretary said.
