Battlegroup West air defenses shoot down 129 Ukrainian drones over past 24 hours

MOSCOW, March 31. /TASS/. Air defense crews and mobile air defense teams of Russia’s Battlegroup West have shot down 129 Ukrainian drones of various types over the past 24 hours, the battlegroup spokesperson Ivan Bigma told TASS.

"Air defense crews and mobile air defense teams have shot down 44 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), seven loitering munitions, and 78 heavy combat quadcopters," he said.

According to Battlegroup North spokesperson Vasily Mezhevykh, as many as 47 UAV control centers, 14 fixed-wing UAVs, 29 R-18 heavy combat quadcopters, and six ground-based robotic systems have been neutralized in the group’s area of responsibility over the past 24 hours. Two counter-battery radar stations, an electronic warfare station, an ammunition depot, and five materiel depots have been destroyed.
