MOSCOW, February 25. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Georgy Borisenko and Jordan’s Ambassador to Moscow Khaled Shawabka discussed the development of bilateral relations and the situation in the Middle East, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

"During the conversation, the sides reviewed topical issues of the traditionally friendly Russian-Jordanian relations, as well as developments in the Middle East," the statement said.

The meeting took place at the request of the Jordanian diplomat.
