MOSCOW, February 10. /TASS/. Kiev is intensifying drone and missile attacks on Russian energy and industrial facilities, Alexander Bortnikov, director of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) and chairman of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC), said at a meeting on ways to prevent terrorist threats in Central Russia.
"At the start of the meeting, Bortnikov pointed out that the enemy was escalating attacks on energy and industrial facilities using unmanned and missile systems," the NAC Information Center reported.
The FSB chief also noted that heads of enterprises and organizations, led by anti-terrorism commissions, had done a lot to enhance security at industrial, energy and transport facilities, particularly to protect against airstrikes. "Work continues to provide these facilities with the necessary advanced equipment. Those responsible for countering terrorism also pay close attention to efforts to reduce and address the consequences of terrorist attacks," Bortnikov stressed.
