MOSCOW, February 3. /TASS/. Moscow will provide support to Myanmar in resisting external attempts to undermine stability in the country, Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu told TASS.

"We will certainly continue to support Myanmar amid ongoing external attempts to destabilize the country," he noted in an interview following a working visit to the Southeast Asian nation.

According to Shoigu, Russia will continue down the path of enhancing bilateral relations with Myanmar based on the principles of trust, equality and mutual benefit.
