MOSCOW, January 29. /TASS/. A potential extradition of former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was not discussed at yesterday’s meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Syrian leader Ahmed al-Sharaa, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
"No, it was not discussed," Peskov said, noting that the two leaders mostly focused on bilateral economic relations and their development.
"The potential is broad enough, and there is mutual interest," he added.
