MOSCOW, December 19. /TASS/. Some 700,000 troops are currently deployed in the special military operation zone, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during the combined Direct Line Q&A session and year-end press conference headlined "Results of the Year."
"We have 700,000 people in the special military operation zone," the president said.
Putin noted that they are mostly young people, including representatives of the generation born in the 1990s.
