MOSCOW, November 28. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will make a state visit to India on December 4-5, the Kremlin press service said.

The visit will take place at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A state visit is the highest type of diplomatic contact between countries, which can be made only once during the head of state’s term in office. It is usually based on an expanded schedule, while the visiting leader receives special honors.
