Almost 30 Ukrainian drones strike borderline Belgorod Region in 24 hours

The regional crisis center reported that an eight-year-old girl was injured in a UAV attack on a private home

BELGOROD, October 10. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces targeted population centers in Russia’s borderline Belgorod Region with nearly 30 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and fired more than four rounds of munitions over the past 24 hours, the regional crisis center reported on its Telegram channel.

"Ukrainian troops launched six UAVs at populated localities in the Shebekinsky District. <...> On the Belyanka-Surkovo motorway, a truck driver was wounded in a drone attack. He was admitted to Belgorod city hospital No. 2. According to medics, he is in stable condition," the regional crisis center wrote, adding that in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, an eight-year-old girl was injured in a UAV attack on a private home. Her condition has been assessed as serious, the girl was taken to the regional clinical hospital. A private residence and a motor vehicle have also been hit.

Ukrainian troops targeted the Belgorodsky, Volokonovsky, Valuysky and Starooskolsky districts with 16 UAVs with no consequences. Ukrainian units fired five rounds of ammunition and launched one FPV drone at the Krasnoyaruzhsky District with no consequences. The Gubinsky District was attacked with three fixed-wing drones and the Grayvoronsky District was attacked with two UAVs, with a private home suffering damage.
