DUSHANBE, October 10. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived at the Palace of the Nation in the Tajik capital of Dushanbe, where a Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) summit will take place.

Tajik President Emomali Rahmon welcomed Putin in the main lobby before the participating leaders gathered for a family photo.

A closed-door meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State will kick off shortly.
