MOSCOW, April 22. /TASS/. Moscow has not received any response from Kiev regarding Russian President Vladimir Putin's proposal to stop attacks on civilian infrastructure, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin.

"No, we haven't heard anything," he said when asked whether Kiev had responded to Moscow's proposal.

The presidential spokesman said that Putin has repeatedly stated willingness to engage the other side on this matter, but as Kiev has forbidden direct talks with Russia, it's unclear with whom Moscow could talk the issue over. "As it stands, the situation is that the Ukrainians have de facto and de jure banned themselves from holding such contacts, and no steps have been taken to reverse this decision," he concluded.
