MOSCOW, April 14. /TASS/. Syria’s ambassador to Moscow Bashar Jaafari has requested asylum in Russia.
"The Syrian ambassador has requested asylum in Russia," a source confirmed to TASS.
Earlier it became known that Jaafari was notified of his recall to Damascus and the change of the head of Syria’s diplomatic mission in Russia.
