"The ongoing inaction of the OSCE - whether through deliberate silence or empty excuses - will reflect the organization's ability to impartially and diligently fulfill the mandate entrusted to it by its member countries," the Russian diplomatic mission stated

BERLIN, March 26. /TASS/. The lack of response from Jan Bratu, the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, regarding the killings of Russian journalists by the Ukrainian military demonstrates his bias, according to a statement from Russia’s permanent mission at the OSCE.

"We urge Jan Bratu to respond appropriately to the series of brutal killings of Russian journalists and to advocate for the rights of journalists and their unimpeded access to information. The ongoing inaction of the OSCE - whether through deliberate silence or empty excuses - will reflect the organization's ability to impartially and diligently fulfill the mandate entrusted to it by its member countries," the Russian diplomatic mission stated on its page on the social media platform X.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called for an immediate response from the OSCE, UNESCO, and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights regarding the deaths of TV Channel One correspondent Anna Prokofyeva and other Russian journalists.
