Moscow urges responsible governments to condemn attacks on Russian journalists — ministry
Maria Zakharova's statement comes in the wake of a deadly terrorist attack against a crew from Russia’s Channel One
MOSCOW, March 26. /TASS/. Russia calls on all responsible governments and the professional community to denounce the Kiev regime's systematic attacks on Russian journalists, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement on Wednesday.
Her statement comes in the wake of a deadly terrorist attack against a crew from Russia’s Channel One.
"We call on all responsible governments, the professional community, and human rights organizations to strongly condemn the Kiev regime's systematic attacks on Russian journalists and other crimes of [Vladimir's] Zelensky clique against civilians," Zakharova stated.
Channel One reported earlier in the day that its war correspondent Anna Prokofyeva was killed by a mine explosion while performing her professional duty in the Belgorod Region. Accompanying cameraman Dmitry Volkov sustained serious wounds.
