MOSCOW, March 20. /TASS/. Russia will invite US representatives to the international meeting of high-level security officials scheduled for May, according to Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu, who spoke to the media.

"We will invite them," Shoigu stated in response to a question from TASS.

He also noted that representatives from over 100 countries had already confirmed their participation in the upcoming meeting.

Since 2010, the Russian Security Council has hosted international meetings of high representatives responsible for security issues. This year, the meeting will take place in Moscow from May 27 to 29.
