Liberation of Stepovoye in Zaporozhye area to impair Ukrainian logistics — politician
"There is a road running from Orekhov to Kamenskoye through Stepovoye, which the enemy constantly used," Vladimir Rogov said
MELITOPOL, March 17. /TASS/. The liberation of Stepovoye by Russian troops will complicate the Ukrainian army’s logistics in the west of the Zaporozhye Region and its troop relocation between Orekhov and Kamenskoye, Chairman of Russia’s Civic Chamber Commission on Sovereignty, Patriotic Projects and Veteran Support Vladimir Rogov told TASS on Monday.
Russia’s Defense Ministry reported earlier on Monday that Battlegroup Dnepr units had liberated the settlement of Stepovoye in the Zaporozhye Region through decisive operations.
"There is a road running from Orekhov to Kamenskoye through Stepovoye, which the enemy constantly used. The liberation of Stepovoye will seriously complicate the Ukrainian army’s logistics because the transfer of personnel, arms and ammunition between the Kamenskoye and Orekhov directions is disrupted now. They will have to move along longer routes. This brings about positive changes for us on the Zaporozhye front as a whole," Rogov said.
