DOHA, March 16. /TASS/. Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held a meeting with Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov in Doha, the office of the Arab head of state reported.

"During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen and develop them, as well as a range of issues of mutual interest," a statement published on the Qatari emir's office website reads.

Manturov, in turn, conveyed "warm greetings and best wishes from Russian President Vladimir Putin," his office reported.
