DONETSK, March 14. /TASS/. Russian forces destroyed a platoon of Ukrainian troops redeployed to the west of Krasnoarmeisk (called Pokrovsk by Ukraine) in the Donbass region from Kursk, a source in defense circles told TASS on Friday.

"In the areas of the settlements of Kotlino and Udachnoye, west of Krasnoarmeisk, a platoon of enemy personnel was destroyed. The unit had just arrived from the Kursk Region," the defense source said.

Ukrainian troops are making attempts with the support of reserves to counterattack in that frontline area, the source specified.
