KURSK, March 13. /TASS/. There is no doubt about the imminent victory of the Russian military over the Ukrainian Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region, acting governor Alexander Khinshtein said in an interview with TASS.

"The enemy wanted to destroy our villages, our towns. They wanted to bring us to our knees, but they did not succeed. <...> There is no doubt about the victory, about the imminent liberation," he said.

"We have not only defeated the enemy, liberated the territory, become stronger, but we will also restore and rebuild our villages and towns," he added.

A massive attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Russia’s Kursk region began on August 6, 2024. March 2025 was marked by a series of successful actions by the Russian armed forces.
