Russian, US officials may hold talks later today — diplomat

MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. Moscow is prepared to discuss the outcome of the US-Ukraine talks in Jeddah with the US side, and bilateral discussions may take place as early as today, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing.
The diplomat emphasized that Russia had not received any official correspondence following the US-Ukraine negotiations in Saudi Arabia.
"We have been monitoring the March 11 meeting between US and Ukrainian officials in Jeddah. We have seen its final statement, which includes various proposals. So far, we haven’t received any official requests on the matter," Zakharova said.
"For our part, we will be ready to discuss the initiatives that were presented there in future discussions with the US. I can also confirm that such communication is possible as early as today. We will certainly keep you informed on their outcomes depending on the specific details that will be available," the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman told reporters.
