No plans so far for OSCE to take part in resolving Ukraine issue — Lavrov

MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/. There are currently no plans for the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to take part in efforts to resolve the situation around Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said following talks with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu.

"There are currently no such plans. We’ll see. Actually, the settlement process has not started yet," the top Russian diplomat stated.

"At this point, issues have piled up concerning the [OSCE] mission’s work, including evidence of its transfer of information to Ukraine, which constitutes a blatant violation of the principle of neutrality," Lavrov noted.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said earlier that members of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission had regularly provided Ukraine with information about the location of militia forces in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (DPR, LPR), as well as with information that could damage the security of the republics and their civilians.
