DONETSK, March 11. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military rigs basements with explosives, as well as approaches to shelters where people are hiding, while retreating from towns, Russia’s security services told TASS.

"The enemy commits blatantly cynical acts against the civilian population. Before leaving a settlement, they rig basements with civilians and put booby traps on the approaches to these houses. We observed such cases in Shevchenko, Selidovo, Galitsynovka, Novogrodovka, and other localities," Russia’s security services said.

Security officers managed to save several groups of civilians in several settlements from such a trap. "There was an appalling case in Galitsynovka. A family with a small child was rescued from the basement. The exit from it was all covered with booby traps. We did not allow them to come out purposefully, knowing that our fighters would rescue them," the security services added.
