Governor says Ukrainian forces shelled 3 districts in Zaporozhye Region
According to Yevgeny Balitsky, the village of Gogolevka in the Kuibyshevsky municipal district came under attack by Ukrainian forces
MELITOPOL, March 10. /TASS/. Ukrainian troops shelled three frontline municipal districts in the Zaporozhye Region with artillery, Governor Yevgeny Balitsky said.
"Massive artillery shelling by Ukraine is underway, targeting three districts in the Zaporozhye Region. For example, the enemy is using artillery and drones to bombard Kamenka-Dneprovska and the shoreline of the municipal district. At least five explosions were detected. Administration officials evacuated to the basement. Casualties and damage haven’t been reported. One shell exploded near the outpatient department of the Kamensk-Dneprovsky hospital, damaging the facade of the building and shattering windows. That didn’t cause any casualties or set off a fire," he wrote on Telegram.
According to the official, the village of Gogolevka in the Kuibyshevsky municipal district came under attack by Ukrainian forces. A Ukrainian drone was shot down over a non-residential building. No casualties were reported. Additionally, the village of Pology came under heavy shelling, which severed communications with the settlement, the governor said.
