MOSCOW, March 4. /TASS/. Myanmar Prime Minister Min Aung Hlaing praised Russia as a country that plays a crucial role in providing balance in international relations.
"Russia is a most important country for ensuring balance at the global level. That’s why Myanmar, for its part, fully supports Russia," he said following talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin.
According to the prime minister, Myanmar highly appreciates the mutual respect and trust in relations with Russia, a country he described as a "reliable and trusted" partner.
Min Aung Hlaing expressed hope that the talks will help improve relations between the two countries and deepen their cooperation in such areas as trade, energy, industry, science and technology.
