MOSCOW, March 4. /TASS/. Russia welcomes all efforts in the Ukrainian settlement, including those of Belarus, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

"Of course, all efforts for the peaceful settlement are welcome," he said in reply to a question on how the Kremlin viewed the Belarusian initiatives on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko told US blogger Mario Nawfal in an interview that he would like to help with the Ukrainian settlement. The Belarusian leader pointed to the need to stop the conflict in the neighboring country and agree on a ceasefire.
