MOSCOW, March 3. /TASS/. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov elected not to comment on a news report by the Bild newspaper that secret talks are underway in Switzerland to restart Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline operation.

"The one mentioned in that publication has already refuted it and the Americans also denied. Plenty of information not true to facts is present now. Therefore, I do not see any sense to commenting on anything in this regard," Peskov said..

On September 27, 2022, the pipeline operator reported an unprecedented damage occurred the day before on three lines of Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 subsea gas pipelines. It is impossible to determine the deadline for restoring operability of the pipelines.
