MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. The G20 should have the decisive role in developing new growth sources and exploring new opportunities, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said at the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting in Cape Town.

"Global security will win from development of alternative solutions in the international finance sphere. The role of the Group of Twenty must be decisive in developing new growth sources, leveling risks and developing new opportunities," Siluanov said, as cited on the website of the Russian Finance Ministry.

The financial infrastructure, specifically payment, investment and insurance one, is the key element of the financial architecture and with equal access to it, Siluanov noted. "It is in our interests to make it so that the financial system is operating seamlessly and with smaller costs. Benefits from the use of the financial infrastructure must be distributed fairly," the minister stressed.
