BEIJING, February 28. /TASS/. Chinese President Xi Jinping has received Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, a TASS correspondent reported.

Shoigu arrived in China after a working visit to Indonesia and Malaysia. His talks with Xi have kicked off at the Great Hall of the People.

"Allow me to thank you for finding time in your tight schedule to meet with me. The fact that the meeting was agreed on such short notice highlights the special nature of bilateral dialogue," Shoigu said, addressing the Chinese leader.
