MOSCOW, February 21. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation on Friday with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists.

"He [Putin] just held a telephone conversation with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev," Peskov said. "They [Uzbekistan] are our allies and partners."

"We will come up with an official statement regarding this telephone conversation as soon as possible," he added.
