MOSCOW, February 18. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, have held a meeting in Riyadh, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.

The ministry shared a photo of the meeting on its Telegram channel. Saudi Arabia was also represented by Musaad bin Mohammed Al Aiban, the kingdom’s national security advisor holding the rank of the minister of state.

The Russian and US delegations held talks in Riyadh on February 18. The meeting lasted 4.5 hours, Russia was represented by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov, and CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Kirill Dmitriev. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, national security adviser Mike Waltz, and special envoy for the Middle East Stephen Witkoff were participating in the negotiations.
