LUGANSK, February 4. /TASS/. Russian servicemen, having struck a Ukrainian grouping in the Zolotarevsky Reserve, have reached the administrative border of the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) and taken control of a one-kilometer stretch, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.

"After defeating Ukrainian manpower and equipment in the Zolotarevsky Reserve, our troops reached the administrative border of the LPR, taking control of a stretch of about one kilometer. Russia’s army also advanced northwest of Zolotarevka," he said.

Marochko specified that the advance of the Russian fighters on this part of the front disrupted logistics and worsened the situation of a Ukrainian grouping deployed near the chalk quarry southwest of Belogorovka.
