LUGANSK, December 28. /TASS/. Russian forces repulsed 25 Ukrainian army counterattacks at the border of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) over the week, inflicting more than 7,500 casualties on enemy troops, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS on Saturday.
"Here is an analysis of the special military operation at the LPR borders over the week. On December 21-27, 2024, units of the Battlegroup West repulsed 25 enemy counterattacks, or seven more compared to the previous reporting period. The Ukrainian army’s losses in the responsibility areas of the Battlegroups North, South and West in the reporting period amounted to more than 7,500 Ukrainian militants and mercenaries. The largest number of enemy personnel was eliminated in the responsibility area of the Battlegroup West," the military expert said.
