MOSCOW, December 27. /TASS/. Russia's State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin will visit Venezuela and Algeria in early January.

"During our upcoming trip to Latin America, we will visit Venezuela, where the inauguration of President-elect Nicolas Maduro will take place. We will also travel to Algeria," Volodin told reporters.

Given that relations between Russia and Algeria are actively developing, the sides should enhance inter-parliamentary cooperation, the speaker of the Russian parliament's lower house noted.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Volodin will represent Russia at the inauguration of Venezuelan President-elect Nicolas Maduro on January 10.
