LUGANSK, December 25. /TASS/. Russian troops have intensified counterattacks near Belogorovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) in the past few days, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.

Ukrainian soldiers have been complaining to officers about increased pressure from Russian troops near that settlement, Marochko said, citing intercepted data. "In the past few days, our units <…> have counterattacked the frontline positions of Ukrainian troops near Belogorovka. It’s worth noting that our fighters, supported by artillery, armored vehicles and the Aerospace Forces, have been advancing round the clock," he added.

Unfavorable weather has made things worse for the enemy in that sector of the line of engagement, the expert said, as Ukrainian soldiers are currently having problems with supplies and the use of drones.
