Putin urges cabinet to launch new national projects on January 1 without delays

MOSCOW, December 23. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has urged the government to launch implementation of new national projects on January 1, 2025, as planned, without any delays.

"They (new national projects - TASS) should start without delays on January 1 of next year," the head of state said at a meeting on economic issues.

Earlier, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that implementation of 19 national projects will begin on January 1. These are social projects that are aimed at population control, improvement of health and the well-being of people, families support, creation of a comfortable and safe environment, development of the economy, technology and the digital sphere. Mishustin said that the government plans to launch the 20th national project by the end of March, which will focus on bioeconomy.
