According to the Russian president, people do it "because of their impotence"
MOSCOW, December 19. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin believes any time foreign leaders insult him, it says more about them than it does about him.
"It’s all about class. I have said this before: He who calls names only tells on themselves," Putin said during the combined Direct Line Q&A session and year-end press conference, using a Russian idiom.
According to the president, people do it "because of their impotence."
"Why should we display such impotence? We can use our words to clearly and concisely convey our position," he underscored.
