Relations between Russia, China driven by mutual trust — Putin
According to the Russian President in recent decades, the two countries' relations have reached the level and the quality that didn’t exist ever before in their history
MOSCOW, December 19. /TASS/. Relations between Russia and China reached the highest ever level because they are driven by mutual trust, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at an end-of-year news conference.
"We very often talk about the interaction between Russia and the People's Republic of China. Next year we celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations between our countries. Over these years, a lot has happened in our relations, but in recent decades, the relations have reached the level and the quality that perhaps didn’t exist ever before in our history. First of all, it is related to mutual trust," he said.
According to Putin, everything that Russia and China do in relation to each other, and how they do it, is based on full trust in the policies of each of the sides.
"We do nothing that would run counter to our interests, and we do a great deal that is in the interests of both the Chinese people and the peoples of the Russian Federation," he said.
