MOSCOW, December 19. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin's combined Direct Line Q&A and year-end press conference has ended. It lasted 4 hours and 27 minutes, and it had to last more than three minutes to beat the 2020 record.
During this time, the head of state answered questions and appeals from more than 60 citizens and journalists.
Among the major Russian news agencies, only TASS asked a question; at the very beginning of the event, editor-in-chief Mikhail Petrov asked the president about the progress of the special military operation and the prospects for victory.
The event was longer than last year's, when it lasted four hours and three minutes. The record was set in 2020, when the combined Direct Line Q&A and year-end press conference lasted 4 hours and 30 minutes.
