MELITOPOL, December 19. /TASS/. Russian troops have advanced towards the settlement of Neskuchnoye near Velikaya Novosyolka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), skirting Storozhevoye where battles continue to liberate the community, Chairman of the Civic Camber Commission on Sovereignty, Patriotic Projects and Support of Veterans Vladimir Rogov told TASS on Thursday.

"Our troops are advancing northwest of Storozhevoye towards Neskuchnoye. This is an attempt to bypass Storozhevoye from the west and advance north of it," the politician said.

Rogov told TASS on December 17 that Russian troops had approached the outskirts of Storozhevoye from the side of the liberated settlements of Makarovka and Blagodatnoye and engaged in battles for that community.
