Ukraine’s army attacks Russia’s borderline Belgorod Region with 34 UAVs in past day
During the last 24-hour period, the Ukrainian military fired 13 munitions and launched six UAVs at five settlements in the Shebekinsky district
BELGOROD, December 19. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military attacked eight districts of Russia’s borderline Belgorod Region with 34 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and 19 munitions over the past day, wounding a civilian, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel on Thursday.
"In the Valuisky municipal district, the villages of Borki, Kukuyevka, Pristen and Sukharevo and the farmsteads Babka, Kurgashki and Nizhniye Melnitsy were attacked by nine UAVs, of which seven were shot down by air defense systems. A car was damaged," the governor said.
During the last 24-hour period, the Ukrainian military fired 13 munitions and launched six UAVs at five settlements in the Shebekinsky district. A civilian was wounded in a Ukrainian drone attack on the village of Murom. Also, three private homes, two outbuildings and seven cars were damaged, he specified.
The Ukrainian army attacked the territory of the Volokonovsky district by three drones, damaging an agribusiness’s building and an infrastructural facility. Six Ukrainian drones and six munitions bombarded the territory of the Belgorodsky, Graivoronsky and Krasnoyaruzhsky districts, damaging two cars, he specified.
Russian air defenses shot down 10 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles over the Krasnogvardeisky and Prokhorovsky districts, with no casualties or damage, the governor said.
