"The United States and its allies long ago began to trample on the principle of equal indivisible security and the fundamental security interests of other states," Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov emphasized

MOSCOW, December 18. /TASS/. Washington's games against Russia, China and the DPRK, which possess nuclear weapons, may lead to a catastrophe, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has warned.

"For the sake of retaining global dominance, Washington is ready to take further strategic risks, to come pretty close to foul play or even break the rules, to recklessly increase forceful pressure on those countries which the Americans have selected as their opponents and adversaries," said Ryabkov, while speaking in a discussion on the platform of the Valdai discussion club. "Since we are talking primarily about the states that have military nuclear potentials - Russia, China and North Korea - Washington's geopolitical games may entail dire consequences, up to catastrophic ones".

"The United States and its allies long ago began to trample on the principle of equal indivisible security and the fundamental security interests of other states. As it has been repeatedly pointed out in official statements by Russian representatives, this is the root cause of the super-acute crisis that we have to deal with now," Ryabkov emphasized.
