MELITOPOL, December 16. /TASS/. The Russian armed forces have advanced from the settlement of Sukhiye Yaly and started to liberate the village of Zelenovka southwest of the Donetsk People’s Republic’s town of Kurakhovo, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of a Russian Civic Chamber committee, told TASS.
"Our units have started fighting for the settlement of Zelenovka southwest of the town of Kurakhovo. A significant area south and east of this settlement, about 6.5 square kilometers, has already been liberated," the politician said.
Earlier, Rogov told TASS that Russian troops were mopping up the settlements of Sukhiye Yaly and Konstantinopolskoye southeast of Zelenovka.
