MOSCOW, December 14. /TASS/. Russia and the US are keeping a channel of communication open to discuss prisoner exchanges, Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Director Sergey Naryshkin told reporters.

"The channel of communication does exist," he noted.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with US journalist Tucker Carlson that there are several confidential channels of interaction between Moscow and Washington mostly used to discuss prisoner swaps.
