LUGANSK, December 13. /TASS/. Russian troops have repelled nearly 20 Ukrainian counterattack attempts in the Svatovo-Kremennaya sector of the special military operation over the past several days, inflicting "unnecessary losses" on the enemy due to its poor preparation, Andrey Marochko, a military expert, told TASS.

"Over the past several days, the enemy made approximately 18 attempts at attacking our units in order to regain their previously lost positions. Counterattacks by Ukrainian armed formations were conducted near the settlements of Lozovaya, Zelyony Gai, Kopanki, Nadiya, Makeyevka, Nevskoye, and Terny," he said.

The expert noted that when attempting to counterattack, the enemy "operated in small groups with insufficient preparation," thus suffering "unnecessary losses."
