MOSCOW, December 11. /TASS/. Units of Russia’s Battlegroup North continued their offensive, liberating the settlements of Daryino and Plyokhovo in the Kursk Region, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

The Ukrainian armed forces have lost more than 200 troops in the Kursk area over the past day, with the total number of enemy losses since the fighting began in the region amounting to more than 39,860 troops.

Operation to neutralize Ukrainian forces

- Units of Russia’s Battlegroup North continued their offensive, liberating the settlements of Daryino and Plyokhovo.

- Russian forces defeated Ukrainian armed formations in the settlements of Guyevo, Lebedevka, Leonidovo, Malaya Loknya, Martynovka, Nikolayevo-Daryino, Nikolskoye, Novoivanovka and Sverdlikovo.

- Russian operational/tactical and army aircraft, missile forces hit enemy manpower and equipment in the Kursk and Sumy regions.

- The operation to destroy Ukrainian forces is ongoing.

Ukraine’s losses

- Over the day, Ukraine lost more than 200 troops, a tank, three Bradley infantry fighting vehicles of US manufacture, seven motor vehicles and six mortars, with one Ukrainian serviceman surrendering as a prisoner of war.

- Since the beginning of hostilities in the Kursk Region, Kiev has lost over 39,860 troops, 235 tanks, 174 infantry fighting vehicles, 123 armored personnel carriers, 1,249 armored combat vehicles, 1,111 motor vehicles, 308 artillery pieces, and 40 multiple rocket launchers, including 11 HIMARS and six MLRS of US manufacture.
