BEIJING, December 11. /TASS/. Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council and leader of the ruling United Russia party Dmitry Medvedev will begin his two-day visit to Beijing, where he is expected to meet with senior Chinese government officials.

Apart from that, Medvedev will lay a wreath to the Monument to the People's Heroes in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square - China’s a national monument to the martyrs of revolutionary struggle.

Medvedev’s previous visit to China took place in December 2022. He held a series of meetings with Chinese colleagues to discuss bilateral and international issues.

Russian and Chinese contacts, including between party officials, continue almost incessantly in various formats.
