Almost all disputed issues between Russia, Belarus settled — Putin

The Russian leader is confident that Moscow and Minsk "will achieve good results because there is readiness and the desire from both sides to continue the joint constructive work"

MINSK, December 6. /TASS/. Almost all issues at variance between Russia and Belarus were agreed, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"Yes, issues are still in place we are to work out in the economic sphere but nevertheless, all our previous meetings were aimed at agreeing upon some disputed matters that are always present, taking into account the huge scope of our interaction," the Russian president said. "For the time being, Alexander Grigoryevich [Lukashenko] is aware of that, the colleagues are aware from both sides, almost all the issues causing certain disputes and the need to reconcile, all of them are exactly agreed upon," Putin noted.

"I am confident we will achieve good results because there is readiness and the desire from both sides to continue the joint constructive work and therefore decisions will be found," the Russian leader added.
