Boris Titov still admitted that there are difficulties with individual payments made by Russian tourists visiting China

BEIJING, December 6. /TASS/. There are currently no fundamental difficulties in settlements between Russia and China, Russian president's special envoy for relations with international organizations on sustainable development goals, Boris Titov, told reporters.

"Of all the problems related to settlements that have arisen recently [since the imposition of anti-Russia sanctions by Western countries], one issue remains - the price increase. As of now, there are no problems with settlements with China, and no sanctions by Western countries can interfere with this process," he said at a press conference during his visit to Beijing.

That said, the special envoy admitted that there are difficulties with individual payments made by Russian tourists visiting China. "From the standpoint of individual payments, our tourists should be prepared for the fact that China has its own system of local payments. Of course, this will create problems," he said.
