MOSCOW, December 5. /TASS/. US journalist Tucker Carlson’s interview with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will be published in the early hours of December 6, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Thursday.
"This interview with Sergey [Lavrov] will be published during the night between today and tomorrow," she said.
Zakharova earlier said that the interview with Russia’s top diplomat turned out to be "very interesting" and it included questions regarding the present-day relations with the United States, Ukraine as well as other issues.
US journalist Tucker Carlson arrived in Moscow earlier in the month with the aim of talking to the Russian foreign minister. Tucker stressed that Lavrov is "the most experienced foreign minister in the world."
Early this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a two-hour interview to Carlson and it was published on February 8. Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said back then that Putin achieved the main goal of the interview to break through the information blockade in the West and be heard.
