Russian forces take control of LPR administrative border near Stelmakhovka — expert

Andrey Marochko said that in order to take full control of the LPR, Russian forces had to push Ukrainian troops out of five more settlements

LUGANSK, December 4. /TASS/. Russian forces have taken control of the Lugansk People’s Republic’s (LPR) administrative border near the settlement of Stelmakhovka, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.

"Our forces continue intense military operations; they crossed the LPR administrative border west of Stelmakhovka and took the area under control. Moreover, Russian assault units <...> are advancing in two areas," he said.

Marochko told TASS on Tuesday that in order to take full control of the LPR, Russian forces had to push Ukrainian troops out of five more settlements. According to the expert, the settlements that are to be liberated are Nadiya, Novoyegorovka and Petrovskoye in the Svatovsky District, Novolyubovka in the Kremenskoy District, and Belogorovka in the Lisichansky District.
